In “onze VW Campers” you can read about the first experience with a VW Campervans. It started in 1979 with a T2 with Devon equipment. In 1982 we bought a new T3 Westfalia Joker. From 1985 till 2000 we travelled with the Beetle Cabriolet and a rented VW LT Sven Hedin. In 2001 we bought the VW T4 WestfaliaCalifornia Generation. In 2003 we tried the VW Karmann Colorado as the ultimate VW Camper but in 2010 we decided to go back to the more “adventure way of camper travelling” with the VW California. “onze VW Kever Cabrio” (VW Beetle Cabrio) In this chapter I wrote about my car which I bought in 1975. After I founded the Kever Cabriolet Club Belgium in 1982 we travelled through all Europe. The Cabriolet was also used in a lot of movies and other promotional activities as the Memorial Van Damme in Brussels, where I drove around the stadium with the world champion longjump Mike Powell in my car. There are also good memories of the 100 years Karmann celebration in Osnabrück. Although we are now only travelling with our VW Camper, the Cabriolet is luckily still ours.
